We are offering our customers a tank replacement warranty called the Tank Guard Program. This program is for 275 to 550-gallon steel outside above ground tanks or basement tanks only.
Basically, all fuel oil tanks deteriorate over time due to the solvents inherent in fuel oil as well as rust and corrosion from external factors. With the Tank Guard Program, initially we come out and a technician does a visual survey of the tank, its location, and any other criteria which would affect qualification. This survey determines whether the tank meets the qualifications of the program. Once you have qualified, should a failure occur, the tank will be replaced at no charge to the customer.
The beauty of the program is that you will never again have to worry whether or not to replace a tank – the program will not only tell you when but the warranty will replace the tank at no charge. That’s correct – no out of pocket outlay to you our valued customer.
I’m sure we have sparked your interest but I’m also sure you are wondering what this will cost you. The Program is an annual one and the fee currently is $ 39.95 per year. There are some very tangible plus features to this plan as well. If you sell your home the warranty is transferable, with our consent, to the new owner. Also some homeowner’s insurance companies give discounts to clients with tank warranty protection plans.
All NEW customers whose tanks are surveyed and qualify for the program, will get the program FREE of charge for the first year. After the first year you pay an annual fee of just $ 39.95 The Tank Guard Program is a wonderful hedge against rising prices not to mention the peace of mind to know your tank or tanks are covered.
Tank Installation Cost Examples
- 275 outside tank $ 1,000.00 to $ 1,300.00
- 275 basement tank $ 1,200.00 to $ 1,800.00
If the cost of the program is $ 39.95 per year times twenty (20) years, your cost would only be $ 799.00. If your tank fails in the twentieth year you will have put in $ 799.00 and we would replace your tank at NO CHARGE. Based on the above cost prices, which are in today’s dollars, there would be a significant savings in being in the program.
We at Valley Energy are very excited about this new program for our customers. We continue to look for innovative ways to give you, the customer, the best service in the area.
